The Paris Déco Off Loro Piana Interiors 2023 Collection establishes, yet again, the brand’s expertise in natural fibres. The line explores the inherent qualities of fibres for a range of furnishings, reflecting Loro Piana Interiors’ extensive research and time-honoured textile expertise.
They consist of accessories, textiles, blankets, and wallcoverings. Wool offered warmth to your home, while raffia and jute added texture to wall coverings. Japanese Igusa (Rush) is another wonderful material that instantly adds character to any interior. Silk, mohair, and cashmere also enhance colours and add softness and interest to patterns and weaves. Linen also demonstrated its versatility with its surprisingly smooth surfaces.
Nature also shines through in the undyed fabrics, which showcase the natural shades of fibre blends. Cashmere Raw and Pecora Nera® emphasize natural hues, with each blend being unique and one-of-a-kind. These fabrics, made from the fleeces of Cashmere goats and dark New Zealand merino sheep, contain no dyes.
“Loro Piana Interiors has always stood out for its expertise with natural fibres,” Francesco Pergamo, Director of Loro Piana Interiors, enthuses. “Through our time-honoured textile know-how, advanced R&D activities, and fully verticalized production process, we are able to transform extraordinary raw materials into even more exceptional fabrics and accessories. In this case, we wanted to develop an especially original interpretation of the chosen fibres, and the result is a very polished collection with a modern, urban spirit.”
